So I did a thing! I have been listening to the audiobook Eat the Frog by Brian Tracy and ever since I have been listening to this audiobook, I have experienced a shift in how I manage my time and goal setting.

One of the tips I learned from this audiobook is the power of goal-setting, prioritizing important tasks to overcome procrastination for better work/life balance.

I am a habitual procrastinator and like many procrastinators, not wanting to Eat the Frog or in other words avoiding the tasks we dread the most, has hindered me in achieving my goals in some aspects of my life.

Another helpful tip was the power of making daily, weekly and monthly lists.

Now you may be reading this email and saying "Really Shontelle? You need help making a list?" Here me out. It's not that I don't know how to make a list or need someone to tell me I need one. It was me not wanting to do the hard stuff and putting if off until later. Creating a monthly list of all the things I need to get done and condensing that by transferring the high-priority tasks to my weekly and daily lists has been a game changer.

Procrastination is the enemy of success. When you procrastinate, you are not reaching your goals, and when you aren't reaching your goals... you see where this is going? 

I am still a work in progress and this audiobook has been a life-changer for me. I am half way through and I have several pages of notes already. It's soooo good!
